Hi, I’m Donna. I moved to the South Burnett region about 12 months ago from Yeppoon and have been working as an independent support worker since 2020. Over the years, I’ve supported participants with a wide range of needs, and with every shift I do with Proactive Support, my goal is always the same—to make sure my participant finishes the day smiling, happy, and feeling like they’ve enjoyed their outing or care.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors. Trail running through the bush is one of my favourite things, and I’m also a big animal lover—I have three dogs and quite a few birds at home. Recently, I’ve started learning lawn bowls and I’m also hoping to get back into tennis soon.
